Pregnancy Care Clinic is now offering STI testing!

When facing an unplanned pregnancy, the fear and anxiety lead to a million thoughts swirling through your head. What should I do? What are my options? I just want it to go away. Please, let it be wrong.

Pre Abortion Screening

At Pregnancy Care Clinic, we understand what you are going through, and we are here to help you. Often, one of the first things women consider when finding out they are unexpectedly pregnant is an abortion.

Before you make an appointment for a procedure, come in and see us for pre-abortion screening. We don’t want you to have a procedure you may not need, and this screening, which includes a pregnancy test, ultrasound exam, and STI testing, will tell you if you are pregnant and if the pregnancy is viable, or not.

Read on for the reasons this testing is an important step for all women facing an unplanned pregnancy.

Have You Confirmed Your Pregnancy?

Home pregnancy tests can be wrong. There are a variety of reasons a test could give a false positive result, such as the time of day it’s taken, the time during your menstrual cycle it’s done, and even how much water you drank, or the medications you are on.

Come in for a free pregnancy test. Our licensed medical professionals will go over the results with you in our confidential, safe, non-judgmental environment. We are a safe place where you can ask all your questions and know you will get truthful, unbiased information. It is important that we give you everything you need to make a thoughtful decision that is best for YOU.

Is Your Pregnancy Viable?

Did you know that up to 25 percent of pregnancies end in miscarriage?1 Most of those occur in the first 12 weeks, according to Mayo Clinic. There are many different reasons this can happen, just as there are several risk factors for miscarriage, but often a woman will not know why it occurred.

If your pregnancy test comes back positive, the next step is an ultrasound. An ultrasound uses sound waves to project images. This will tell you if your pregnancy is viable or if it’s ectopic, a dangerous situation that needs immediate medical attention. It will also give you much needed information on the gestational age, or how far along you are in your pregnancy.

We can perform ultrasound exams for you right here at Pregnancy Care Clinic.

STI Testing

If the tests are positive, and you are considering an abortion, make sure you ask for an appointment to be tested for STI’s. Having an abortion with an untreated STI puts you at risk2 for pelvic inflammatory disease3 (PID).

Be Confident in Your Decision

Our medical professionals are caring, compassionate advocates who want to make sure you have all the information you need to make an informed and thoughtful decision that is in line with your beliefs and values.

We are committed to giving you honest and open answers to all of your questions. This, we believe, will empower you to make the best possible decision for your future. Make an appointment today.
